I chose to repin this image because of the way it makes me feel. The statue has a pensive look and an aged patina. Combined with the black-and-white film technique, it gives the photo a melancholy, thoughtful emotion. This angel's face looks serious yet perhaps a little hopeful. - I imagine her looking up as if to ask for a message from her King, looking for reassurance. Crows and ravens have always been my favorite animals. They are a little mysterious, very intelligent, and they are often found in fairy tales and old stories. The organic shape of the bird is angular and dramatic, with a strong black contrast, while the crown is very delicate and natural. |

This photo is pretty and sparkly! It reminds me of summer night time on the Han River in Seoul. I think about walking by the river with my special friends and buying ice cream. Also, I love rainbow colours and neon, so this pin catches my eye right away. The deliberately out-of-focus photography style is called 'bokeh'. This kind of photo is called a 'shelfie' - like 'selfie', but it's a picture of an arrangement on one of your shelves or your desk, instead of a picture of your face. I pinned this because it's really my style - clean, modern, and monochrome (one main colour). It's also very organized and calm. I wish my desk was like this! |
