TASKS
TASKS are the things you would normally do in class time; they are ways to practice new skills.
They are marked at 1 % apiece + 1 attendance credit.
Tasks are an important part of the way you learn in this class. Rather than sitting and listening for 75 minutes to your professor lecturing, you will be actively learning by doing. Every week has a different task, in which you will practice and review (output) the new concepts you are hearing and reading (input). Tasks can build fluency or develop accuracy: they are worth 1 % and 1 attendance credit.
