WHO is the instructor for this class?

WHAT will we be studying?
This course is in English, with a theme of Design - but mostly what we study is Thinking and Making.
This class is project-based, hands-on, and believes in flipped learning, learning by doing, and student autonomy (자치).
There are a lot of small tasks and practical assignments, which although they are all graded, are actually ways to learn rather than assessments. I am your guide and your assistant in the process of learning by doing!

WHY is this course so different?
Because I am a professional designer, an ESL/EFL educator, and a lifelong student myself, I have spent many years in metacognition - thinking about thinking, learning about learning, designing about design. I believe we learn best through doing rather than listening, by learning from each other and in community, and by doing authentic and engaging work rather than tests and quizzes.
I hope you'll agree with me!
